Women in Business Summit focusing on UP-SCALING women-led SMEs in construction and facilities management

Grow Supplier ZA, in partnership with Sun International, will be hosting a Women in Business Summit with a focus on women-led SMEs in construction and facilities management. The SCALE-UP SUMMIT 2023 is a business development initiative to address success and growth matters relating to women-owned businesses in the facilities management and construction industry.

Though women-owned businesses continue to play an increasingly large role in the South African economy, there is still a need to address the challenges that hinder many of them from scaling up.

SCALING UP is complex, and every entrepreneur should know when and how to execute their scaling growth strategy, for example, to satisfy a major increase in demand, strengthen a competitive position, or seize new market opportunities.

The Summit is designed to:

• Improve the success rate of women-owned SMEs in facilities management and construction by providing curated business support.
• Foster collaboration in support of the growth of empowering women-owned SMEs through a curated ecosystem platform that enables public and private stakeholders to exchange knowledge and best practices in developing women-owned businesses.
• Facilitate the dialogue on possible solutions that will enable women-owned SMEs to achieve their growth objectives by educating them on the dynamics of scaling.
• Connect women-owned SMEs to opportunities for both financial and non-financial business support that can improve the growth and success of these businesses.
