Community Members continue to protest and loot shops and shopping centres. Our economy is very shaky at the moment, unemployment is high and people are starving – but the protests and looting will only result in the economy getting worse.
People are unable to get to work. Shops and business premisses are being vandalised this will result in more jobs being lost. More families will be without an income. We need to stop looting to save South Africa.
Not only are jobs being lost but people are dying due to violent protests. We need NGOs and NPOs to speak in one voice in order to stop the looting to save lives and jobs.
