We, as NGOConnectSA, are a registered non-profit organisation that strongly believes in uplifting Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) and Community Based Organisations (CBOs) for the benefit of our nation. We believe in growing through partnerships. We have recently been serving together with RebuildSA to restore in South Africa what was damaged as a result of the looting and unrest that took place in the past few days.
We care about South Africa and through our advocacy and outreach serve to see NO unemployment and NO 
poverty, hence our involvement in Rebuild SA. We first came on board the #RebuildSA project as a drop off zone and temporary office sponsor at our head offices in Nelson Mandela Square. We have now been appointed as the official donations distribution partner.
We are best fitting to distribute donations because of our good network in the civil society sector and our logistics management and coordination experience. We will be partnering with community based organisations to best distribute the donations in their communities.
Over the past few days we have received a number of donations being dropped off from individuals, companies and non-profit organisations. We are grateful to have received the donations and still continue to accept more as our list of recipients is still unfortunately more than what we currently have.
We aim to feed 600 families in 6 different communities and have so far received donations for 348 families, 5000+ sanitisers, dog food, 4 blankets, sanitary pads and baby products. We are still in need of donations for 252 families of which we would like to request that anyone that is able to either sponsor a family or donate food items or winter clothing to contact sbonelo@ngoconnectsa.org or 082 649 3741 (WhatsApp or Call).
We will work with 6 different compliant Non-profit organisations across 6 different communities in order to ensure that donations are distributed in a dignified and peaceful manner. NGOs to be announced at 14:00 today – click here to register your NGO for donations distribution.
Packaging to commence on the 21st of June and distribution to commence on the 22nd of June.
