Age in Action was the latest beneficiary from Meropa Casino and Entertainment World, the heartbeat of Limpopo’s kindness as they received a printer worth R37 000.
The handover, which happened live on Energy FM, was to the Limpopo branch of the national NPO which aims to restore dignity to these often-forgotten members of society.
“We are proud to be a part of Energy FM’s project and contribute to the community through Meropa’s socio-economic development programme. The donation of the printer and a maintenance contract to take care of the printer will help Age in Action reduce their costs,” said Meropa General Manager, Sammy Mokhele.
“We thank Meropa and Energy FM for going to lengths to give us a big printer, which will help the elderly that we serve, as it belongs to them as well,” said Naume Molokomme, Age in Action Limpopo chairman.
The Ricoh Printer IM C300 is the same brand that Meropa itself uses. “It is fast and will assist both Age in Action staff and its seniors,” said Meropa IT Operations Manager, Chancy Hlebeya
