NGOConnectSA recently has generously donated 60 toiletry packs to the Tshiamiso Astronauts, a community-based organization dedicated to promoting literacy.
Each pack contained essential items such as toothpastes, toothbrushes, bath soaps, face cloths, roll ons, petroleum jelly/vaseline, sanitizers and sanitary pads. Toiletries were for 34 girls and 26 boys aged between 8 and 18 years who attend the organization’s programs. NGOConnectSA also donated cleaning products for the centre.
This donation from NGOConnectSA couldn’t have come at a better time,” said Itumeleng Dibetso Centre Manager of Tshiamiso Astronauts library who was there to receive the donation together with some of the volunteers.”Many of our learners come from underprivileged backgrounds and struggle to afford basic necessities. These toiletry packs will go a long way in helping them feel clean, confident, and ready to learn.”
This collaboration exemplifies the impact of collective efforts in uplifting communities through essential support.
