“Our team spent the afternoon playing with the kids and handing over food hampers and party packs,” said Carnival City SED and CSI Officer Mduduzi Madonsela.
“Thank you to the awesome Carnival City team for spending time with the children at the Village as part of our Mandela Day initiative. The little ones enjoyed the surprise party packs with chips, chocolate, a boerewors roll, fruit and a juice, so much,” said Khethiwe Zwane, Kids Haven Fundraiser.
The Home has three pillars of care to deliver services to promote safety and care of children, including empowering the community to protect and care for children and in-care protection for children in crisis. They also aim to build skills in young people leading to them being self-sufficient and able to seek work opportunities.
