NGOConnectSA is addressing the critical issue of period poverty and lack of access to essential toiletries in South Africa. In recognition of Madiba Month, our Special Projects Unit is initiating a once-off donation of essential toiletries to registered organizations focusing on the protection of the vulnerable in townships around Johannesburg. The number of donations is based on the number of verifiable beneficiaries within the applying organisation. Toiletry items per beneficiary include but are not limited to roll-on deodorant, face cloth, toothbrush, petroleum jelly/lotion, sanitary pads and toothpaste.

Impact: Our goal is to provide immediate relief to those affected by period poverty and inadequate access to toiletries, ensuring better health, hygiene, and dignity for all recipients.

How to Apply:

Registered non-profit organizations that work with vulnerable communities, including children, women, youth, and people with disabilities, are invited to apply. Please complete the application form online here. You will need to provide organisation details and the number of beneficiaries served.
