| Africa!Ignite is a leading rural development agency based in KwaZulu Natal, but working increasingly into the rest of South Africa, with expansion plans currently focused on the Eastern Cape (Addo and Wild Coast). Our approach is to develop holistic programmes that support rural communities to create meaningful livelihoods. While we focus on working with women, youth and children, we have a non-exclusive approach that helps us to unlock local value chains. Our vision, mission and values are set out above. Africa!Ignite has an extensive footprint of rural development nodes and work with a network of trained youths and adults across the province. These include craft and agro-processing enterprises, tourism entrepreneurs, market researchers and early literacy facilitators. |
