Yabonga Childrens Project
Yabonga Children’s Project is a Cape Town-based non-governmental organisation dedicated to supporting impoverished individuals and communities especially those affected or infected by HIV. Operating across seven township communities in and around Cape Town, Yabonga offers a comprehensive care model that leverages family, community, and state structures. Our holistic support aims to foster healthy emotional, social, and academic development, empowering vulnerable children and youth to lead productive lives.
Position Overview:
Yabonga is seeking to appoint x4 bakery interns to assist on an ad hoc basis in our bakery.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 1- year proven experience baking industry
- Able to bake muffins / scones / vetkoek / biscuits / rolls / bread
- Able to use Prover / large oven / large mixer
- Ability to work in a team and alone
- Police clearance is required.
- Mandatory problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative and communication skills.
- Proficiency in IsiXhosa and English
- Qualification or course completed in baking
- Live in Makhaza , Khayelitsha (Important)
